Times/Hours I like to work

  • Weekdays 9-5:30/6
  • I start to burn out if I work late and I need good downtime to operate well

The best way to communicate with me

  • I enjoy face to face communication but can find days packed with calls tiring
  • Emails are good as easier to refer back to and reread if needed
  • Slack is fine too for quick stuff, although I tend to mute channel alerts to 'mentions only'

The way I like to receive feedback

  • Face to face - although written is ok too
  • I can take things to heart - particularly when tired/stressed

Things that I need are

  • Time to reflect - I often don't have the answer straight away
  • Social time - I miss being in a room with people and I value sharing thoughts and feelings about life outside work
  • Calm downtime to process - I try and meditate at least once a day

Things I struggle with

  • Having answers on the spot
  • Workshops - listening/taking in lots of information
  • Reading or writing long documents
  • Staying on track - I'm easily distracted and can feel pulled/excited in lots of different directions at once
  • Conflict - I get upset and struggle to shake it off

Things I love

  • Working calmly as a team to produce great work with all of the details attended to
  • Taking care over whatever I'm doing
  • Laughing together

Other things to know about me

  • I'm highly sensitive and identify closely with the HSP profile
  • Sometimes the world can feel overwhelming, like it's in HD
  • I experience high highs and low lows! My moods can shift quite dramatically and that's hard sometimes
